In my twenties, I experimented with a vegetarian diet heavy in processed foods, unknowingly wreaking havoc on my health. Underweight, malnourished, and battling the painful manifestations of psoriasis, I found myself trapped in a cycle of despair. From inflamed patches on my scalp and face to debilitating joint pain, psoriasis dictated every aspect of my life.
Feeling hopeless within the confines of mainstream solutions, where prescriptions offered no relief and sometimes worsened my condition, I made a pivotal decision to reclaim control of my health. Turning to holistic approaches, I embraced a low-lectin dietary pattern and primal strategies aimed at nurturing my body from within.
Through gradual lifestyle shifts that prioritized nourishment and gut health, I witnessed a remarkable transformation. Not only did my psoriasis symptoms and inflammation diminish, but I also experienced a revitalization of my entire being, gaining 25 pounds of much-needed strength and vitality.
Fueled by my own journey of healing and self-discovery, I embarked on a mission to empower others to chart their paths to wellness. Certified as a personal trainer and health coach, I merge my expertise in fitness, strength training, and conditioning with a deep-rooted passion for holistic healing. Recently, I became a certified Human Intestinal Microbiome Specialist, further enhancing my ability to guide clients towards optimal gut health and overall wellness.
For over 10 years, I've dedicated myself to a career as a personal trainer, health coach, and leader in the fitness community. My approach is deeply rooted in the belief that healing begins from within. I work closely with my clients to identify and remove sources of inflammation, guiding them towards nurturing foods that support gut integrity. Additionally, I provide tailored eating strategies to help clients reach their optimal weight and muscle mass, empowering them to take control of their health and well-being.
Located in the beautiful state of Wisconsin, my family and I call this scenic region home.
